Varieties: Wide Melnishka Loza Wide Melnishka Loza is an emblematic variety, endemic to the Melnik region.

In the past, it was grown in a cup-shaped formation or in the form of a bush 80 cm from the ground.

At Villa Melnik, we have preserved a small plot of 1 decare, which never ceases to surprise with impressive results.

Alcohol: 13.5% vol.

Vinification: The wine is made from grapes harvested only from the vineyard with a cup-shaped formation. 50% of the quantity was fermented in a stainless steel vessel without contact with oak barrels, and the remaining 50% was aged for 24 months in a second filling of Bulgarian oak barrels.

Characteristics: It is distinguished by an incredible concentration of fruit and complexity of flavors and aromas. Expressive earthy aroma, combined with the typical tobacco of the variety, dried forest spices, ripe red fruits, unforgettable cherry, prunes. The body is juicy, well balanced; with ripe, rounded tannins and wonderful freshness. Long, noble finish. A wine for connoisseurs.

Food: ribs with barbecue sauce, meats in sweet and sour sauces, pork with fruit chutney, veal with blueberry sauce, caramelized sauces, wild boar, deer, roasted game

To be served at: 18-20 C, decant before consumption
